Performs groundbreaking of car assembly plant at M-3 Industrial City

FAISALABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Wednesday said the government would complete its constitutional tenure and next general elections would be held in time.

He was addressing after performing the groundbreaking of Hyundai Nishat Motor (Pvt) Ltd's Car Assembly Plant at M-3 Industrial City.

“Six years back, Pakistan was facing instability but now the situation is far better, and foreign investors have been taking interest in making investment in Pakistan due to sincere efforts of the PML-N government,” said the prime minister.

He said that the government’s privatisation policy remained successful, and it had planned to provide all possible incentives and facilities to investors.

He said the PML-N government did not raise hollow slogans but it really delivered by overcoming the prevalent issues, gas and power loadshedding in particular.

Abbasi said the government had also completed a number of mega projects, including power generation units and motorways, whereas gas terminals were also being established in the country.

Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana, Federal Minister for Commerce and Textiles Pervez Malik, State Minister for Power Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali, State Minister for Communication Muhammad Junaid Anwaar Chaudhry, State Minister for Interior Talal Badar Chaudhry and others were also present on the occasion.
