PTV director, wife's mysterious death raises suspicions
Police say Fakhar Hameed slipped in the bathroom and died; wife died of shock when she found his body
An IT director of the state-owned Pakistan Television (PTV) was found dead along with his wife at his home in Rawalpindi on Tuesday under mysterious circumstances, Express News reported.
Sadiqabad police said Fakhar Hameed, 55, who had a heart ailment, slipped while he was in the bathroom and died. His wife, 50-year old Humaira, a cancer patient, was also found dead near the bathroom door. Their seven-year old adopted daughter was at school when the incident occurred.

Hameed died of the injuries from the fall. His wife died of shock when she saw her husband's body, Express News reported quoting police.
The police have arrested the maid for questioning, while the bodies have been sent to a hospital for postmortem.
New Town Circle's Homicide Investigation Unit's in-charge Aziz Sultan said evidence has been collected from the crime scene and a clearer picture would emerge after the postmortem.
