LAHORE:
The Punjab University and Arizona State University in the US have agreed to establish an academic writing centre to improve the academic writing skills of faculty members. The facility will be established on the PU premises.

The initiative was discussed in a meeting of PU Vice Chancellor Dr Zafar Moeen Nasir with representatives of the US Department of State and ASU at the VC office.

Dr Nasir expressed his keen interest in improving the academic skills of faculty members. He stressed the need to increase collaboration between the universities of the two countries to learn from each other's experience and knowledge.


Punjab University students honoured

US Department of State Public Affairs Officer Michael D Guinan said that through the universities partnership programme, the research skills of faculty members were being developed.

He said that US academics were interested in playing their role in the capacity-building of Pakistani scholars.
