Cricket: Burewala CC outclass Malir
Burewala CC register an emphatic eight-wicket victory over Malir Companions.

A fine all-round show by Naveed Yaseen and a brisk half-century by Zain Abbasi enabled Burewala CC to register an emphatic eight-wicket victory over Malir Companions in the Pakistan Champions League.
Yaseen grabbed two wickets for 21 runs as the winners restricted their opponents to 124. Umer Khan (35) was the top scorer for Malir Companions. In reply, Burewala CC achieved the target comfortably with three overs to spare, courtesy a brisk 73-run knock by Abbasi. Yaseen was also impressive in his 48. In the other match, Pak Korangi Club registered another victory when they defeated Rahimyar Khan’s Quaid-e-Azam CC by two wickets.
