JACOBABAD:

A remote controlled bomb blast derailed the engine and four bogies of the Karachi-bound Bolan Mail Express near the Sindh-Balochistan border.

Official sources said the explosive device was planted on railway tracks in Jacobabad. The blast damaged 20 feet of the track in addition to derailing the engine and four bogies. No passenger was hurt.

Because of the damaged tracks, train service between Balochistan and other parts of country was suspended. Train services will resume after repairs on the tracks are completed.
