Baloch doctors: YDA abandons private hospital patients

Doctors refuse to attend patients as the deadline for fulfilment of their demands ends.

QUETTA:
Young Doctors Association (YDA) Balochistan has announced that doctors will not attend to patients at private hospitals across the province from Thursday (today) as the deadline they had given for their demands to be met has expired.

YDA chairman Abdul Samad Panizai said his organisation had given a deadline to the government for meeting their demands, including salary increments and improvements in scales, amongst others. He said all out-patient departments (OPDs) and operation theatres will remain closed from today for an indefinite period of time.
