The best batsman of the Indian cricket team paired with one of the most in-demand actor of Bollywood is surely something that tops the list. Virat and Anushka, the latest couple to jump on the bandwagon, met back in 2013. The duo starred in a shampoo ad together which sparked a friendship, eventually leading up to a romance between the two. Making it official, they were spotted at various events together and supported each other in times of need. Anushka was usually seen in the stadium cheering for her knight in a not-so-shiny armour, while Virat gave the credit of his success to “lady-luck Nushki.” The couple dated for about four years before tying the knot on December 11, 2017 in an intimate ceremony in Italy. 2. Sagarika Ghatge and Zaheer Khan

Popularly known as the captain of Chak De! India’s hockey team, Sagarika made her Bollywood debut in 2007, starring opposite superstar Shahrukh Khan. On the other hand, Zaheer is one of the fastest bowlers in the Indian cricket team and a leading wicket taker as well. The two recently wed in a small ceremony in Mumbai but hosted a grand reception which was attended by bigwigs from both the industries. These included Sachin Tendulkar, Suresh Raina, Sushmita Sen and Arshad Warsi among many others. Virat and Anushka were also a part of the celebrations.
3. Hazel Keech and Yuvraj Singh

Known for playing Kareena Kapoor Khan’s best friend in Salman Khan’s Bodyguard, Hazel married Yuvraj late last year. Yuvraj is one of India’s most dynamic cricketers. He was also earlier diagnosed with cancer but overcame the illness after a tough battle. The player seems to have a thing for Bollywood beauties as he was previously linked to Deepika Padukone and Kim Sharma. However, none of those relationships worked out.
4. Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh

One of India’s celebrated spinners, Harbhajan also known as Turbanotor tied the knot with this Bollywood actor in 2015. Popular for her roles in The Train and Dil Diya Hai alongside Imran Hashmi, Geeta was never expected to marry the bowler. After years of an on and off relationship, the duo decided to get married and now have a one-year-old daughter, Hinaya Heer Plaha.
5. Sharmila Tagore and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi

Apart from being royalty, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was also the captain of the Indian cricket team. Notoriously known as ‘Tiger Pataudi’, the former captain married actor Sharmila in 1968. The two had the most long-running and successful marriage before Mansoor passed away in 2011. The couple gave birth to three children; jewellery designer Saba Ali Khan and actors Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan.
