Security arrangements reviewed

LAHORE: SP Security Ammara Athar had a meeting with the administration of over 200 banks in the city to review security arrangements on Tuesday. She said that they would conduct security audits of the banks at Qila Gujjar Singh Police lines.

During the meeting, Ammara asked the incharge security of banks to remain alert and told them that firing practice would be arranged for security guards. “Security branch will also conduct the security audit of the banks.” She said that most of the times robbers looted the victims when they were leaving after withdrawing their money from an ATM.



The suspects would roam around the banks to make people their targets. She asked the security incharges to keep an eye on these suspects and asked them to report any suspicious activity to police.
