Consumer Rights: ‘Awareness campaign to be launched’
Awareness campaign to motivate people to register complaints at complaint centre.
KARACHI:
An awareness campaign is being launched to motivate the public to register complaints of exaggerated price hike, adulteration and hoarding at the complaint centre at the Home Minister Office.
The planning, policy and home affairs consultant, Sharfuddin Memon, gave this information to Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon during a meeting at the minister’s office.
He urged civil society, social welfare organisations and particularly the media to not only sensitise people about consumers’ issues but also identify problems and suggest plausible solutions.
