AIOU upgrades science labs
New technology has been imported from Germany and some other developed countries to meet research needs

The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has upgraded its science labs according to international specifications to facilitate students who are completing research on socio-economic issues of society.
For this purpose, new technology has been imported from Germany and some other developed countries to meet research needs.
This was stated by AIOU Vice Chancellor Prof Shahid Siddiqui while speaking at a training workshop held to understand new trends in the field of material sciences.
The workshop was attended by researchers from 20 national institutions and aimed at updating them about the new technology for evaluating and using the relevant equipment.
The event, organised by the university’s physics department was part of their ongoing activities to introduce new developments in various disciplines of Physics and to promote research culture in the country.
