Teachers, students and employees of International Islamic university Islamabad (IIUI) staged a protest rally against recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel by the US President Donald Trump.
The rally was organised by academic staff association and a large number of teachers, students and employees participated in it.
It started from main Jamia Mosque of IIUI and ended at hostels. Academic Staff Association President Dr Abdul Jalil, General Secretary Dr Shehzad Ashraf, USWA President Tariq Khan and student leaders addressed the protesters and said that the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel by the US president has endangered world peace.
