RCB flower show spreads autumn hues
The board is making efforts for the plantations in all available spaces

The Annual Chrysanthemum Flower Exhibition of Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) which opened on Friday will continue at Romi Park till Monday, December 11.
Various departments of the garrison city including RCB, Parks and Horticulture Authority, Chaklala Cantonment Board, Central Ordinance Depot Golra, Rawalpindi CMH, Military Hospital, Armed Forces Bone Marrow Transplant Centre, Armed Forces Institute of Pathology put up a floral show.
Moreover, horticulturists and landscapers of Army Heritage Foundation, Rising Complex, Jinnah Park, Ayub Park, Military College of Signals and other departments are participating in the exhibition.
According to the RCB spokesman, the board is making efforts for the plantations in all available spaces and has developed numerous greenbelts and grounds.
Citizens should also play their role in making the environment green and pollution free, he said. The flower exhibitions are annual feature of Cantonment Board to provide the residents clean and healthy environment.
