Khaadi opens first store in Faisalabad
The launch introduces the brand’s latest Winter Tales Collection
In 1998, founder and chief executive officer Shamoon Sultan set out to revive the ancient craft of the handloom and popularising the traditional medium in a contemporary fashion. What began as a humble startup in Karachi, has quickly transmuted into a robust brand with international presence.
Khaadi has stayed true to its name and continues to produce a blend of styles to complement both the East and West, while utilising a bevy of fabrics.
The brand is now a household name in Pakistan, with 43 stores at almost every notable location and in all major malls across the country and they’re only expanding.
Khaadi recently opened its doors to a 16000 square feet flagship store in Faisalabad. It’s the first store in the city located at Gateway Tower on Satiana Road. The grand opening also marked the launch of Khaadi’s much anticipated second unstitched winter collection, “Winter Tales”.
Further, the design philosophy of Khaadi’s new Faisalabad flagship store is a testimony to the revolutionary brand’s continuous commitment to provide state-of-the-art retail experience.
To this end, the store features Khaadi’s signature layout with an architectural and aesthetic fusion of design elements from the east and west. The new store is also home to the brand’s pret, unstitched, home and kids’ product lines.
What began as a single store start-up in Karachi is now recognised as Pakistan’s most iconic fast fashion retail force. Currently, Khaadi has over 40 stores in dominating high streets and malls all across the country. It is also one of the very few Pakistani fashion retail brands to successfully establish a global footprint with stores located in the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and Qatar to cater to international customers.
The brand has grown to rule the fast fashion map in Pakistan as well as abroad. Khaadi’s products are instantly recognisable and sought after for their distinct, high street fashion sense and unique global ethnic inspiration.
