RFID system launched in Faisalabad
Iris system helped the company eradicate ghost attendance of the workers
FAISALABAD:
Faisalabad Waste Management Company (FWMC) has launched RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) system to trace its vehicles and monitor their performance. FWMC Managing Director Ammad Iqbal Gill said the FWMC had introduced Iris Device System for attendance of its workers in the city and now RFID system had been launched to improve overall performance of the company.

He added that Iris system helped the company eradicate ghost attendance of the workers and it will also help in eliminating illegal use of FWMC vehicles. The RFID system had been linked with online system of the company and it had the capacity to identify FWMC waste lifting vehicles from a specific distance and provide its entire data, including vehicle number, driver’s name, time, date and place of movement, he maintained.
