Nicl scam: Maalick’s bail petition adjourned
The prosecutor suggested that the court wait for Elahi to file a plea.
LAHORE:
A division bench of the Lahore High Court on Tuesday adjourned a bail plea from Muhammad Maalick, manager of PML-Q leader Moonis Elahi, both of whom are accused in the National Insurance Company Limited scam case. The prosecutor suggested that the court wait for Elahi to file a plea, since a banking court had dismissed the PML-Q leader’s bail petition and he was expected to appeal, and club the two petitions together. Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry heads the bench.
