Student protest: 24 students, six teachers injured by Rangers
Ranger personnel used batons and resorted to aerial firing to end a protest on Tuesday.

Nearly two dozen Federal Urdu University of Arts Science and Technology (FUUAST), Abdul Haq Campus students and six teachers were injured when Ranger personnel used batons and resorted to aerial firing to end a protest on Tuesday.
The FUUAST student action committee was protesting against the varsity administration for power failures during academic hours.
The injured, including Enayat, Kamran, Ismail, Khalid, Mehboob, Faisal, Afzal, Rizwan, Aurangzaib, Hashim, Nadir Shah, Yousuf and Rana Jawaid, were taken to Civil hospital. After the incident, students hurled stones at the Rangers, broke windows and continued to clash with them for nearly two hours.
