Middle-order batsman was all to be dead on social media
Pakistani middle-order batsman Umar Akmal published a video message on Twitter to refute the fake news of his demise.
A picture was making the rounds on social media claiming the right-handed batsman had died.
However, Umar, in a video message, said that he was all right and the news was fake.
"I am fine by the grace of Allah," he said. "You will watch me live in the semi-final of the National T20 Cup. And I request everyone to not spread such fake news."
A day before publishing the video, he also tweeted about his well being.
