MUZAFFARABAD:
Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK)government has decided to regularise as many as 3,375 Lady health workers (LHWs)and supervisors of National Programme for Family Planning (NPFP). NPFP, Coordinator Dr.Farhat Shaheen said that previously the programme was run by federal government, adding the regularisation was a long awaited demand of the employees of the programme. He said that Federal government had released Rs300 million for payment of pending salaries to lady health workers and supervisors and approved a grant for AJK government for the programme after which he said they would be regularised within weeks.
