Amir Khan's general knowledge skills at question

Amir 'King' Khan might be very good at knocking people out, but the boxer might need to brush up on his general knowledge skills, reported Mashable.

Currently a contestant on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, Amir specifically asked if the UK has ever had a female prime minister or not.



Things got politically at the reality show while the participants were taking part in a task that required one of them to play the role of a prime minister. It was at this moment that Amir blurt out the trivial question.

However, he later corrected himself saying, "Oh, Margaret Thatcher!" and asked his camp mates to not tell anyone about his mistake.



But, it was already too late. Twitterati were quick to express their concerns.

Even British comedian Jason Manford, who appeared with him on Who Wants to be a Millionaire voiced his misfortune.

Another fan proposed a new theory.

At this point, it's needless to say that Amir will be the least bit concerned about internet-mockery.
