Opposition Leader Chaudhry Muhammad Yaseen said that if Indian interlocutor Dineshwar Sharma is sincere to the people of IoK then he should probe the unmarked graves, custodial killings, disappearances and molestations committed by the Indian military since 1990s. He observed that the visit will not benefit New Delhi since the genuine leadership of the Kashmiri people was under house arrest or behind bars, adding that India has committed mass human rights violations in Indian-held Kashmir.

Yaseen said Kashmiris were aware of New Delhi’s delaying tactic and these will only strengthen the ongoing struggle for liberation. “Lethal weapons manufactured by Indian companies are tested in IoK,” he said. "Be it pellet or pepper gun, it shows the attitude of Indian troops against Kashmiris."
He assured Kashmiris in IoK and the All Parties Hurriyat Conference that the government and opposition parties of AJK will be alongside in their struggle for the right of self-determination.
