Health: GCUF to establish model pharmacy
A model pharmacy is to be established in Government College University Faisalabad.

A model pharmacy is to be established in Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) at a cost of Rs5 million. According to a university spokesperson, Prof Dr Zakir Hussain, “The vice chancellor is committed to promoting a College of Pharmacy along modern lines. The pharmacy is an integral part of the medical sector and we want to set up a system that helps students familiarise themselves with this branch of medicine.” Hussain said that students of pharmacy are likely to choose the private sector in later stages of their medical careers. “There is huge potential in the private sector for pharmacists,” he added.
