During the first Ashes Test between Australia and England in Brisbane, a fight broke out in the stands between two spectators, which quickly turned violent.

The opening Test match is just in its second day at the Gabba ground. A series of pictures shows the two men hitting each other while Australian fans appear amused during the encounter.

The fight occurred in the section at the Gabba ground where Australian spectators were sitting. British fans, known as the ‘Barmy Army’, were seen on the other side of the ground.
