WWF Carnival: Roots secures 1st Position
The 1st “Best stall presentation” award was taken by Rootsians.
ISLAMABAD:
Roots School System (RSS) is the founding member of the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF) nature carnival this year, organized at Fatima Jinnah Park Islamabad.
This year the school participated with full zeal and enthusiasm in all five categories of the carnival which were: Say no to plastic bags for grade 1 and 2, Threats to the Blind Indus Dolphin for grade 3 and 4, Energy Conservation-Alternative energy for grade 5 and 6, Climate Change for grade 7 and 8 and linkages of Wetland and Livelihoods for grade 9 and 10.

In the category ‘Threat to Blind Dolphins’ Roots got the 2nd prize for its presentation via 3-D models and 48-A Satellite Town Campus won the 3rd prize.
In the category ‘Say No to Plastic Bags’, the 3rd prize was taken by 77 A-1/3 Satellite Town Campus.
