Confrontation: Policeman killed in shoot-out
Hussain Shah, a police constable, was killed in an exchange of fire with robbers near Pir Mangrio.
KHAIRPUR:
Hussain Shah, a police constable, was killed in an exchange of fire with robbers near Pir Mangrio at the National Highway Therhi Bypass, late Sunday night. The police reached the crime scene on a tip-off and started firing at them, when Shah was shot by the robbers who managed to flee. The policeman’s body was taken to Civil Hospital, Khairpur. A case was registered. The deceased was buried at Shah Ladhani graveyard on Monday morning.
