The authorities should give clerks a hundred per cent salary raise as suggested by their charter of demands, said the All Pakistan Clerks Association in Sanghar on Monday.
The association staged a demonstration in front of the Population Office and staged a sit-in, blocking Mirpurkhas Nawabshah Road.
Addressing the gathering, the association leaders also demanded the authorities regularise all employees.
They demanded compensation for the alleged maltreatment meted out by the chairman of the Technical Board, Karachi and that he be removed.
