Contractual employees: SSGC removes retired workers
SSGC was following orders issued by the Supreme Court to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources.
KARACHI:
The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has terminated the services of all those officers who had reached the age of retirement but were rehired by the company on contract.
SSGC spokesman Zuhair Siddiqui told The Express Tribune that there were a total of 23 individuals who were affected by this decision.
They had been serving the company for up to a maximum of three years and primarily held the designations of managers, deputy managers, deputy general managers, general managers and chief engineers.
