The delegation remained with the general for some time and discussed matters of mutual interest. They then proceeded to meet Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Tariq Majid at the Joint Staff Headquarters.
Both parties discussed the regional security situation, bilateral defence relations and measures to enhance military cooperation.
General Guang-lie assured China’s continued support in various fields to Pakistan. He also reciprocated the desire to bolster bilateral defence collaboration.
