Diya FC lead football championship
First women club to score 40 goals in three matches.

Diya Football Club lead the fourth National Women club Football Championship after registering a 7-0 win against Karachi Kickers FC in the concluding Group A match in Karachi.
Marium Laghari struck a hat-trick after netting in the 15th, 42nd and 53rd minutes, while team captain Afshan Altaf scored a brace in 11th and 30th minute. Rukhsar Rashid sealed the victory seconds before the final whistle.
Diya FC is the only team in the country’s women football history to have scored 40 goals in three matches without conceding any. The club leads the group with nine points with Karachi Kickers following them in second place with six points while Marta FC and TC club failed to progress to the next round.
In other matches, LUMS defeated LSE 1-0 and Sports Sciences crushed LGS 8-0 in the Group B matches. Defending champions Young Rising Stars FC defeated Hazara Shaeen FC 10-0 and Margala FC outplayed Young Rising Stars FC Layyah 7-0 during the Group C matches in Islamabad.
