LAHORE: Primary and Secondary Healthcare Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir has said that remarkable changes will be observed in the health sector after revamping of tehsil and district hospitals.

He said installation of CT scan machines had been started in district headquarter hospitals (DHQs) in the first phase. So far, machines have been provided to the DHQs of Kasur, Mianwali, Layyah, Bhakkar and Vehari and the remaining would be equipped by December 20.

He said the Jhang DHQ had been certified with an MSDFS certificate, which was a big achievement. He expressed these views while addressing THQ and DHQ medical superintendents who were attending the ceremony from across Punjab.

Primary and Secondary Healthcare Secretary Ali Jan Khan, Drug Control Additional Secretary Dr Sohail, Dr Farooq Manzoor, Dr Mukhtar Ali Shah, project directors and officers were also present.
