Six people injured in attack on restaurant

Police arrests six people after attack on restaurant in Boat Basin area.

KARACHI: Six people were injured in an armed attack on a restaurant in Karachi's Boat Basin area on Monday.

Clifton police arrested six people after the incident.

The restaurant is owned by PML-N leader Sardar Raheem.


Four other people were killed in different firing incidents across Karachi.

A security guard was shot dead when he tried to prevent an armed man from stealing a motorcycle in Defence area.

In Kharadar area, two brothers were fired at, out of which one died while on his way to the hospital.

In a separate incident of target killing, a man was gunned down by unidentified motorcyclists on Maripur road.
