Punjab board approves uncut release of 'Verna' - finally
'Verna' will be releasing nationwide - phew!

The Verna release controversy has taken the entire nation by storm. Earlier, the Lahore premiere was cancelled and then the Karachi premiere was called off as well because the film producers hadn't received the censor board certificate.
'Verna' to release internationally but not in Punjab
The film was released on November 17 in UK and the US, as promised, however, the Sindh Censor Board took some time and eventually issued the certificate earlier the morning of the scheduled release.
The leading lady, Mahira Khan was quick to update her fans about the clearance as well.

No word from the Punjab Censor Board had been given to the producers making them lose all prime time shows of the film for November 17.
Recent advancements in the story say that Verna has been cleared by the Punjab Censor Board which means that the movie will now be shown nationwide as opposed to only being screened in Sindh.
