‘No citizen to be denied healthcare’

Newly-appointed health secretary Muhammad Jehanzeb Khan said on Sunday that access to public health facilities was a right of every citizen and that he would ensure that no one was denied this right.
He said the Punjab chief minister had taken several steps to upgrade government hospitals and provide free-of-cost medicines to hospitalised patients and at emergency wards. He said all stakeholders would be taken on board to improve the conditions in the health sector.
