The footage, recorded by an unknown person, shows that bio-waste is not dealt with properly, and is instead being dumped under open skies. The disposed waste also include the dumping of waste from the gynecology ward of the facility.

The complex is situated in district Swabi, native district of the provincial health minister as well as speaker provincial assembly.
The footage shows human organs and placenta dumped just outside the hospital building within the hospital premises; some set on fire, but a heap still visible attracting crows, dogs, cats and kites.
“The Minister for Health Shahram Khan Tarakai visited the facility a few days ago where the minister was told about the problems being faced by the hospital administration since construction is underway however it seems as if the minister was not informed about dumping Gynea ward stuff [for reasons unknown],” a senior official at the facility told The Express Tribune.
The official, who requested anonymity since he was not entitled to speak to media, stated "it was not fault of the hospital administration since the facility lacked manpower adding the deputy commissioner was approached so that the municipal committee shifted the waste".
“This should not have happened but since it has, the department has taken serious notice of the issue as this is not considered a mistake, this is something really serious,” the official informed adding that the hospital administration has already ordered inquiry into the issue.
When contacted, Medical Superintendent BKMC Dr Abid Hussain, who is on medical leave confirmed the developments by saying "the inquiry report will be submitted by 2pm today [Monday]".

“It was astonishing, and I have sent an inquiry team to probe the issue,” Hussain told The Express Tribune adding that the report once completed will be forwarded to the health ministry.
On the other hand, the provincial health department official has taken notice of the issue and has questioned concerned people as to how human organs including placenta were not dealt with properly.
Earlier, the health department took action following a video showing a hospital ambulance throwing down hospital waste into a river in district Chitral.
