Quality Work: PSCA sets up digital lab
The lab will be used to improve pictures and videos obtained by cameras of the authority

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has established a digital forensic lab in Qurban Lines. The lab will be used to improve pictures and videos obtained by cameras of the authority. The software for the purpose was prepared by Huawei Company. The training of seven police communication officers was provided by Punjab Forensic Science Agency for one month. CEO PSCA SSP Akbar Nasir Khan said that the establishment of the lab will further improve the quality of video or audio. He would be improved that they could as evidence in courts. An officer of PSCA said the authority’s cameras had night vision and could clearly capture images in darkness. During their installation, it was also seen to that these cameras were not affected during rain and protected from sunlight. The cameras were also functioning well during smog and fog.
