Much like the general public, superstars like Amitabh Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have also been victims of theft. The culprits have stolen everything from jewellery to designer wear owned by these celebrities, despite the hoards of security around them.

Sonam Kapoor
The fashion queen of Bollywood had her a very valuable diamond necklace stolen from her residence two years ago. It was priced at about Rs500,000 and was missing from her drawer where she had kept it after wearing it to a party the same night.
Sushmita Sen
This is probably the scariest thing that can happen to one on a vacation. In 2012, Sushmita had gone to Greece for an exotic holiday where she was robbed at Athens airport with nothing left, except the clothes she wore. She went through a lot of trouble but finally managed to call her lawyer back in India who somehow got her back home.
Mallika Sherawat
According to rumours, Mallika was once beaten and robbed by three masked intruders in Paris. The actor was with a friend when the robbers sprayed them with tear gas and punched them.
Dino Morea
The actor had some valuables stolen while he was asleep. Dino also later tweeted that the thief had the guts to come to his room where he was fast asleep.
Arpita Khan Sharma
Salman Khan’s sister Arpita was mugged while her husband was abroad. Valuables worth a total of Rs500,500, a 10 gram gold coin and some designer clothes were missing.

Married to long time beau Raj Kundra, Shilpa was robbed off an extravagant audio system and an iPod.
Kajol and Ajay Devgan
Kajol and Ajay got robbed by the domestic help they had hired to do cleaning a few days before Karva Chauth celebrations. The robbers, Gayatri Devendra and Santosh Pandey, tried stealing 17 gold bangles worth Rs500,000 but were arrested by Juhu police station.
Saif Ali Khan
Back in 2014, the Nawab of Pataudi logded an FIR at Khar police station after his servants stole 11 split ACs from his production house.
Katrina Kaif
While returning from Australia after shooting Singh is King, the actor was robbed off her luggage which had costumes worth Rs 72 lakhs. The bag that had 85 costumes could not be located after which the team was left with no other choice but to recreate them.
Amitabh Bachchan
Even after being in surveillance 24/7, Big B’s house Jalsa could also not escape the clutches of theft. Deepak Karwat stole about Rs8,000 but was caught by guards before he fled the scene. Amitabh has also gotten his luggage stolen while flying from London to Toronto once.
