Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

Charm is one thing. And while you adore spending time with those who have that gift, it can mean they avoid frank discussions when they’re necessary. While you can’t change these characteristics, you can do your best to meet them in the middle. Which means you’ll speak more slowly and they’ll be more direct.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

While this is a time of growth and discovery for many, it’s also a period during which others are experimenting with overdoing things, just for the fun of it. Warn them where you can. But they may not listen and, in any case, will probably have to learn from their own mistakes.

Gemini | May 20 – June 20

Your sense of humour is one of your greatest assets. It not only adds to your charm, it also enables you to lighten otherwise difficult discussions with witty observations. While, usually, that works, at the moment things are so tense you could easily misjudge your words. For now, keep those witty remarks to yourself.

Cancer | June 21 – July 21

The balance between looking after the needs of others and your own is always a bit of a juggling act. And recently, certain individuals have been very much on edge, so demanding. However, you, too, need support. While your concerns are different, it’s time you talked things over with somebody you trust.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

One of life’s best moments is when what seemed an impossible situation is resolved. The way things were dealt with or by whom isn’t as important as the fact that, at long last, you can put this behind you. If anybody asks for the details, gently but firmly explain it’s not their business.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

As much as you dislike even thinking somebody is being dishonest, what’s coming to light suggests it could be the case. While, obviously, you can’t ask them, you can wait until Mars’s powerful link with truthful Pluto, on the 18th, which is bound to force the facts out into the open.

Libra | September 22 – October 22

Obviously you’d prefer to avoid dramas involving practical or financial matters altogether. But with the Full Moon, in a week’s time, bringing certain already tense issues to a head, theatrics of some variety are probably unavoidable. Disruptive as these would be, a forthright exchange would do wonders to clear the air.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

The compassionate, water sign side of your Scorpio nature will do everything possible to help those who’re struggling, especially family and close friends. But when that involves substantially altering elements of your life that are routine, you’ll struggle yourself. Bizarrely, making these changes will help you as much as they do others.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 20

You care about all sorts of people. However, there are one or two individuals who really pull on your heartstrings, enough that tensions between them and you can be unsettling if not worrying. Don’t brush this off. Ask what’s wrong. Not only will the answer be surprising, you’ll learn a lot.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 18

Because you invest a lot of time in thinking through plans before you make them, they rarely need to be changed. But judging by the powerful influence of the current link between your ruler, Saturn, which accents that organised side of your nature, and the unpredictable Uranus, changes aren’t just likely, they’re unavoidable.

Aquarius | January 19 – February 17

There’s no arguing the fact that you’re heading into new territory. While, in certain situations, this involves others, something you enjoy, in one or two you’re solo. This is challenging, more than you anticipated. However, the actual process of making your way on your own is as significant as reaching your destination.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Once long range plans are made, you tend to stand back and let things evolve as they were organised. While, usually, that works, with so much in transition, you’ll need to update if not rethink those arrangements, and with increasing frequency. Disruptive as this may be, the outcome will be worth the effort.
