Arrest proclaimed offenders: NAB chief
NAB chairman tells regional bureaus to use their resources and make efforts to apprehend wanted suspects

The chief of the apex anti-corruption body has directed all of its regional bureaus to concentrate on apprehending proclaimed offenders and absconders.
In a statement released on Thursday, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice Javed Iqbal told all regional bureaus to use their resources and make serious efforts in apprehending wanted suspects NAB. “Their timely and early arrest will be helpful in bringing them to justice as per law.” Justice Iqbal further directed that all NAB regional bureaus submit reports of the proclaimed offenders and absconders they have arrested within two months and that no leniency will be tolerated in this regard.
