Kurram Agency sealed due to Chehlum
Section 144 imposed in DI Khan and Kohat

Security forces have closed down the Pak-Afghan border at Kharlachi entry point ahead of Chehlum in Kurram Agency.
In order to thwart any terror attempt to fan sectarian hatred, police and security forces were stationed in settled districts of K-P and section 144 was imposed in DI Khan and Kohat. Authorities in many districts have also banned pillion riding on motorbikes.
According to reports coming from Kurram Agency, GOC Major General Azhar Abbas visited the barricaded agency headquarter of Parachinar on the eve of Chehlum and inspected the security situation.
He announced that border will remain closed with Afghanistan till further orders due to security situation in the agency.
Maj Gen Abbas said that security forces have established extra check-posts at the entry and exit points and no vehicle or motorcycle will be allowed to enter into Kurram Agency on the procession day.
