FC Balochistan foils terror bid near Pak-Afghan border
A bomb-laden motorcycle was recovered in Sur China of Zhob district
The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan and intelligence agencies averted a major terrorist incident in the troubled province, a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday.
The intelligence-based operation (IBO) was conducted in Sur China, Zhob district near Pak-Afghan border.
A bomb-laden motorcycle as improvised explosive device (IED), hidden in nullah was also recovered.
Moreover, senior police official DIG Hamid Shakeel was martyred in a suicide blast along with two others in Quetta’s Chaman Housing Scheme.
The senior official’s convoy was targeted, as a result of which seven sustained injuries, including three passersby.
