ISLAMABAD:
The CDA has finally started a formal process for regularising non-permanent employees in the civic body.

All directorates of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) have been told to forward a list of vacant posts and positions to the Human Resources Development (HRD) Directorate immediately, read a statement issued by the civic body.

Once the department sends in the list of vacant posts, the HRD will subsequently start the process for inducting non-permanent employees on these posts.

The CDA said that a letter to this effect has been sent to all departments.

CDA Member Administration Yasir Peerzada, while chairing the meeting to renew the process for regularisation of non-permanent employees, urged departments to send the lists as soon as possible.

Peerzada had specifically called the environment directorate’s director general to brief about vacant posts in the wing.

“Non-permanent employees of the authority deserve the maximum attention of policymakers,” Peerzada said.

“The ground for regularisation of non-permanent employees has already been prepared. CDA Board has adopted the Cabinet Secretariat letter to this effect. The process for regularisation, therefore, should be initiated without any reservation,” the member administration added.

The HRD has also issued a circular in this regards, giving departments 10 days to submit their lists and providing them with a format to submit the data in including name of vacant post, its basic pay scale grade, name of people appointed on contingent paid, contract, daily wages and projects against the said post.

The directorates have also been told to provide a provincial quota against the posts and sanctioned strength.
