Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that instead of lying everyday Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan should account for his lies in the Supreme Court and present himself in the anti-terrorist court from which he has been running away, reported Radio Pakistan.

In a statement, rejecting the rhetoric of PTI chief at a public gathering, she said that in 2014 he came to have the assemblies dissolved but returned after attacking the parliament.

The minister of state said that statement to dissolve the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Assembly is very regrettable.

She also asked Imran Khan to unlock the K-P Ehtsab Commission and let the people know the fate of the Bank of Khyber scandal.

The bank scandal had surfaced in April last year, when The Express Tribune published a story in which K-P Finance Minister Muzzafar Said said he was unaware of the voluntary separation scheme of the bank and opposed the move of the bank.

The day after the story was published, the bank management published an advertisement against Said and levelled allegations of illegal appointments, use of bank’s money in his political rallies and intrusion in the bank matter. Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), which is a coalition partner of PTI in the K-P government, refuted the allegations.
