A man shot two women over ‘honour’ on Friday afternoon.
Moza Beru resident Muhammad Farooq allegedly shot two of his sisters-in-law Rehmat Khatoon and Shehnaz Akhtar for marrying of their own free will. Farooq’s wife Sonia called the police and informed them of the incident.
Sonia said that her husband had escaped after the incident but that he had been threatening to kill her sisters for a week.
Joharabad Police registered a case against the accused and is searching for his whereabouts after receiving information about his location from his wife.
