Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Thursday condemned the protocol given to deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from Benazir Bhutto International Airport to Punjab House.

"Absolutely shameful how a discredited PM, facing a host of financial corruption charges, is given official protocol at tax payer expense," PTI chief said on Twitter.



Imran lambasted Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for not only approving the protocol but also allowing the former premier to stay at Punjab House on the expense of tax payers.


Nawaz arrives in Islamabad, escorted to Punjab House by ASF





Nawaz arrived in Islamabad early on Thursday morning. He was travelling to the country on Pakistan International Airline’ flights 786 from Heathrow Airport in London to Benazir Bhutto International Airport.

Escorted by Airport Security Forces [ASF]officials, Nawaz headed for Punjab House where party leaders and workers welcomed his arrival.
