ISLAMABAD: In an emphatic statement, Islamabad Mayor and CDA Chairman Sheikh Anser Aziz on Monday said that unauthorised construction in Sector E-11 of the capital would not be tolerated.

Noting that the move was to curtail haphazard construction in the city, he warned that stern action would be taken against violators.

Aziz added that a comprehensive strategy has been evolved so that the master plan of the city can be implemented in its true form.

Moreover, the CDA on Monday has issued a list of illegal commercial and residential buildings located in Sector E-11 which do not have the requisite approval from the authority.

The CDA has also warned sponsors of all such projects to stop development work immediately and submit the requisite documents identified under the rules to obtain formal approval and no-objection certificate from the civic body. Failing to do this would invite legal action from the authority.

CDA has also urged the public to refrain from indulging in the sale and purchase of property in any project in Sector E-11 without prior verification from CDA.
