"If the Muslim population continued to grow at the same pace, India will become an Islamic country by 2027,” said a Hindu Yuva Vahini (Hindu Youth Force) leader Nagendra Pratap Tomar.

Tomar, on Sunday, alleged it is the Muslim community’s conspiracy to increase their population to make India an Islamic nation by 2027, remarks that are likely to stoke controversy, said The Indian Express.

“It is a conspiracy of the Muslim community. They want to have total control over India,” said the Hindu Yuva Vahini leader.

Hindu militia members accused of killing Muslim in northern India

“Muslims bear children not because they want to have them, but because they want to occupy the whole country,” alleged Tomar, the western Uttar Pradesh head of the outfit at workers’ conference.

Chief Minister Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath founded the right-wing organisation in 2002. He is also the chief patron of the outfit.

Adityanath, backed by his volunteer force, spearheaded the campaign of Modi’s Bharatiya Janta Party [BJP] in this year’s Uttar Pradesh state polls, helping to secure a landslide victory in the northern state. Since his appointment, units of the Hindu Yuva Vahini have ramped up their anti-Muslim rhetoric and launched a campaign against so-called “Love Jihad” – what they regard as a strategy to convert Hindu women through seduction and marriage.
