Sindh National Party goes on strike after killings

Party workers killed in shooting incident near Khipro Canal.

KARACHI: The Sindh National Party announced a complete strike after two members of the party were killed in a firing incident in Sanghar.

Witnesses said that unidentified men had opened fire on a car, belonging to a party worker, near Khipro Canal. The occupants of the car died on the spot.

Another person was killed and one injured in the shootout.

After the incident, gunmen forced shopkeepers to close the markets in Mirpur Bhutto, Daulatpur, Tando Jam, Kotri and Qasimabad.

A partial strike is also being observed Hyderabad.
