Schoolboy robbed in Lake View Park

Robbers put a pistol on the head of the victim to snatch his mobile phone

ISLAMABAD: In a blatant proof of rising crime in the federal capital, a boy was deprived of his cell phone in the parking lot of the Lake View Park by armed robbers.

As if striking with impunity, the robbers have time and again snatched valuables from people in and around the popular picnic point.

According to a report filed with the Bhara Kahu police, a grade seven student was on a field trip with his school. He went looking for a bathroom, however, when he was walking across the parking area, two men put a pistol to his head and snatched his cell phone.

The robbers rode off on their motorbike unchallenged.
