RAWALPINDI:
Fourteen cops have been awarded various punishments by Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi Muhammad Wisal Fakhar Sultan Raja on dereliction from duty, poor investigation and other charges. According to Rawalpindi police spokesman, the RPO took action against the cops in accordance with the law in a meeting chaired by him. Among these officials a sub-inspector was dismissed from service for not registering an FIR, while another was dismissed for misusing powers in a case.
