British Rules: ‘Good English’ must for UK student visa
Changes to the UK’s Tier 4 student visa route come into effect today, April 21 2011.

The UK government has decided to make changes for the visa requirement for Pakistani students going to England to study, by making good quality of Spoken English a necessity.
According to the British High Commission changes to the UK’s Tier 4 student visa route come into effect today, April 21 2011, and are designed to reduce the abuse of the student immigration system by those seeking to work and also to protect legitimate students from being misled by questionable institutions.
As part of these changes those coming to study at degree level will have to speak English at an upper intermediate level.
According to the new requirement, if the student cannot match up especially in spoken English or refuses to attend the interview, their application will be rejected.
