Accidentally poisoned: Four members of a family die

Residents said that the family was poisoned because their wheat bag was mixed with a can of pesticide.

SUKKUR: Six-year-old Nadia Bhatti, four-year-old Salma Bhatti, 18-year-old Abdullah died, while four others fainted after eating poisonous food in Raees Mughal Bhatti village near Thull on Wednesday night.

Mughal Bhatti’s family fainted after eating dinner and were taken to Thull hospital. Ten-year-old Ahmed, seven-year-old Naheeda, 12-year-old Magisan, 17-year-old Ummi and nine-year-old Godhi were shifted to Larkana hospital in critical condition, where Ahmed passed away on Thursday.

Residents said that the family was poisoned because their wheat bag was mixed with a can of pesticide, while others said a bug fell into their food.
